Today was another good day. Of course with its ups and downs but still it was good. My spirit is up and I had lots of nice visitors again.
Also I am now done with the chemo bags. Just saline solution for the next 24 and something hours. Thats the sucky part: i won’t go home on Monday but on Tuesday morning.

Glad to see so much distracting but incredibly useful (well, most of them:) gadgets. Also good to hear about starting the salt water drip, that means you’ll be going home soon. Perhaps not as soon as you’d hoped, but soon nonetheless. Hang in there just 1 more day (and a few hours) and keep the positive feelings going, we’re sending you lots.

Loved the interview and talk, very interesting. Gadgets are great…especially for you! Was the microphone for doing interview? The nurses don’t like to be on the video, huh, well they are missing out being famous.
So, sending you via picassa the video’s, lets see if it works. Also, downloaded Skype, just working on the camera part (ours are old and can’t find the right drivers to install it)…so as soon as that is up and going, will skype you!

You’d laugh at me because in spite of my tech knowledge, I listen to some geek radio talk show about this stuff in hope that I’ll pick up info by osmosis. Actually, I’m impressed with myself if what I’m doing here is “blogging”!

Just got a complaint from Schiphol Airport. They keep on losing planes from radar right above OLVG. Instead they get visuals and sounds of people driving on segways, movies of cats, ringtones. So please turn off 1% of your equipment (estimated 5 devices).
Seriously, just a few hours and you’ll be home.

Jammer dat je niet vandaag maar morgen pas naar huis mag. Aan de andere kant, kun je een dag langer genieten van de mooie verpleegsters en het lekkere eten.
Zag al je speeltjes, wauw, je zou er bijna voor het ziekenhuis in gaan (maar niet heus), maar ik kan me voorstellen dat ze je dag lekker opleuken.

For once, no telephone from here yet today. This time in writing: hope this day passes quickly and that the saline drip improves your condition fast. You’ll be counting the hours to go home.
