Occasionally I will be contributing to this blog by adding updates and comments on status and conditions. So here is a quick update;
Went to the OLVG this morning around 11.00 and they took out a piece of the ‘thingy’. After a 30 minute rest and an X-ray (to check that the lungs weren’t punctured, which would be really bad), we left the hospital around 13.30.
Maarten is doing well, resting up and lekker chillin. He appreciates all of the well wishes (and beautiful flowers!) that are coming our way.
